Description

This stained glass purple iris panel is 11.5 inches wide and 17.5 inches tall. It has a 3/8 inch zinc frame and is constructed with 3/16 inch lead came. There are hooks incorporated in the frame for hanging.

Glass used in this panel is mainly Youghiogheny which is sells high end stained glass. The flowers are surrounded by a clear textured glass called taffeta which resembles the fabric with the same name.

Tennessee’s state flower is the iris and also one of Carolyn’s favorite flowers to recreate in stained glass.

The panel is signed and dated in the lower right hand corner using an engraving tool.
