Description
This stained glass mocking bird window is 27.5 inches tall and 21.5 inches wide.
When Carolyn moved to Tennessee and discovered that the mocking bird was the state bird, she decided to make this window. Mocking birds are everywhere in Chattanooga and they can be heard throughout the spring night, calling for a mate.
The window comes in a oak wood frame with hooks screwed in the top for hanging. It is leaded with a narrow 3/16 inch lead.The blue sky glass is a soft periwinkle blue with wisps of white clouds throughout.
The window is subtlety signed and dated with an engraving too in the lower right corner.
