Description
This stained glass teal lamp shade is 10 inches tall and 19 inches in diameter. It’s made with Armstrong light blue opal or country blue which leans toward the teal side of blue. The bottom edge has a scalloped effect and is reinforced with 1/4 inch lead came. It has a pleasing flow of circles and ovals along with the calming color.
This shade would work well as a table lamp, a floor lamp or a hanging lamp.
Carolyn’s lamps are very well constructed. The vase cap is tinned with a thin layer of solder and attached to the glass rather that just tacked in spots like lesser quality shades. This is a solid lamp that could be passed down from generation to generation.
As always, the lamp is signed and dated with an engraving tool.
