Mushroom Valance construction:
This mushroom valance panel would look lovely in a kitchen or garden room. The upper edge of the panel is free form with a lead u channel.This method gives is a unique look which will stand out from a typical square framed glass piece. It is done using the copper foil method.There are hooks incorporated in the zinc bottom and side framing. for hanging with chair or fishing line..The background glass is a German antique. The mushrooms are amber opalescent and the foliage is wispy green. This is a “one of a kind” creation by Carolyn Insler.
About the Artist:
All of Carolyn’s work is signed and dated by etching into the glass in the lower right corner. She has worked with designing and constructing unique works of stained glass art for over 40 years.
