Brown stained glass art is not necessarily the first color we look for in our stained glass purchases. However, it is a very important color in the form.
For example, think of a landscape. Most landscapes include trees. As an example, take a look at the tree trunks shown below. What a wonderful way to add nature to the home! Place one of our hanging panels in your window and instantly the brown stained glass art becomes a part of the home and the landscape.
The beauty of the way Carolyn uses brown in her artwork is not only the selection of color. The texture of the glass gives texture to the tree trunks and branches. Note how the glass visually recreates the image of bark or a twisted tree. Selecting the texture when using brown can add as much as the color itself.
In the abstract design, notice the swirls or the patterns created by the glass itself.
For certain the craftsmanship that Carolyn offers is masterful. But, the selection of the stained glass to add depth and distinction enhance her work with texture.
